Hello!

We’re Angus and Amy James. Based in Ballarat, Australia and very proud parents to two incredible little boys. Our book journey began shortly after our first son was born.

We had always hoped to retell the story of Angus’ incredible fishing photo somehow. However after being gifted so many wonderful new children’s books to read to our son by our beautiful friends and family, inspiration finally hit.

We had the written manuscript ready for illustration for a little over a year, but we just couldn’t seem to find the right artist to bring our characters to life. We were so incredibly fortunate to find Heather May Williams, without whom this book would not be here today.

Our family loves all kinds of outdoor adventures but this is one of our favourites, so we hope you love it too!
